Born in a wealthy family, Fran was exposed to fine arts since she was very young. When she was 18 years old, she thought that the glamour life didn’t fit her, thus she decided to run away, taking an Art major and lived a peaceful life in Iwatodai. Although she had difficulties in settling down, she quickly adapted herself to her new environment. She even joined the local kick-boxing club to learn how to defend herself.
She met the love of her life when she turned 25 and they were going to be married. Alas her dream has to be shredded to pieces; the night when her fiancé proposed her, was also the night she lost him. Both of them experienced the Dark Hour, and when they were attacked by shadows, her fiancé died protecting her.
Enraged, Fran unleashed her persona, and managed to drive away the shadows. She then quietly kept the track of the shadows activity, trying to relate the Apathy Case with what she had had experienced.
The evidence she gathered leads her to Gekkoukan High, where she found most victims are the students of the said high school. There she decided to apply as an Art teacher, to reveal the secrets of the Dark Hour.
Personality:
Fran has both sharp tongue and mind—she always voices her opinion and stands firm for her belief. Although she looks cool and collected, she’s actually a very gentle and caring person. Once she’s grown attached to a person—she’ll fight for her/him with her might and tend to be over-protective. It’s her fiance’s death that makes her reluctant in bonding relationship with people.
When she’s at school, you will see a whole lot different person than the real Fran. She would go all ‘teacher-y’, has thisfake kind smile and gentle voice—the typical teacher that students love.
However, when she’s back to her usual self, she’d be all blunt, stern and ignorant. Her art in cussing and swearing is formidable; the trait that even her fiancé couldn’t get rid of. She likes to drink booze and smoke only when she has something troubles her. She can’t stand hot and dogs (for she was bitten when she’s 4). She’s also a good cook, being honed living alone for years.
